Your divorce attorney will need to have a good understanding of your finances in order to assist with your divorce. At a minimum, they will need to see your bank statements, tax returns, financial statements, loan applications, credit card statements, retirement statements, and pension statements. You should also provide copies of any stock options that you have, deeds to property, any loan documents, life and health insurance paperwork, and any other records that you think are important.
